Just sharing some practice. The barbarian leaping off edge was started for a composition that was put on hold. It was crude gesture, and I decided to render it up some. The skull piece was an old sketch I also decided to render up.
In both cases using the excellent pencil tools and the ramon wet blend brush.
No reference used for the figure. Sometimes I work directly from references, sometimes referencing specific anatomy to help me work something out, and much of the time just off the top of my head - like this figure. So don’t expect exacting accuracy
