Surface Pro Pen -- Flip for eraser

Hello! Sorry if this question’s been asked before, I’m brand new to MyPaint.

Is there a way to have MyPaint switch to an eraser brush when I flip my surface pen?

Windows 10 with on Microsoft Surface Pro

MyPaint version: 2.0.0+git.af5225a2

Operating System + Version: Windows 10

Make and Model # of Graphic Tablet: Surface Pro

Please Tell Us How to Reproduce the Problem in Steps.

Using the surface pen with normal tip uses the currently active brush. Flipping to the eraser end uses the normal brush as well. I was wondering if it’s possible to map this end to an eraser. It looks like there’s only one device listed in the device panel in preferences.

Yeah, sadly with surface devices, the second button I believe is used for activating windows ink. I don’t think it can be used as an eraser. On the flip side, if there is a program that takes advantage of it on windows 10, it probably a matter of going upstream and submitting a feature request or a bug report.
