I would like to request the Reference image tool for Mypaint, and this potential that could be helpful for all the Mypaint user-artist to draw with more inspiration and creativity and improve their skills when drawing or sketching using reference images to create poses, landscapes and all kinds of drawings that can help them or create drawings, most of us use reference for drawing and practicing for increase or skill in drawing, having this feature would be very a good way for Focus in every detail and study differents types of characters drawings styles.
This idea cames from differents examples by some drawings softwares that applied in this case the example of Krita Referencel Tool.
This is my own workspace that i have display the images reference around all my canvas.
The options they came its for resize or scale the image, rotate and reflect horizontally and vertically , lower the opacity and saturation and the color picker option, etc.
The users who have been used this feature knows very well how this works, i just put all the details that i remember
I also want to add a video that shows how work this feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWpjlyUlBiA
There is a lot of options in this documentation of Krita they have for this feature:

In another case for Ibispaint for this type of reference image tool in some other softwares of drawing are like the Image display in reference window or subwindow that works with swicht images and can do all that features, resize, rotate, color pick and the hability for saved your reference images with every artwork that you have been created in the storage of the App just like in Krita too. The others features options they need to add for the case of Ibispaint was this ones i think reflect horizontal and vertical, lower opacity and saturation too.
And with the hability for switch images too

There is another many samples from the reference image tool or subwindows reference image, but this ones are the most important and more near for Mypaint software. Maybe there is another examples like PuRef programs which are opensource that could be helpful a lot with mypaint workflow.
