Where does these rescued project files live? I want to try to fix/rescue the files from outside of MyPaint. Well, some I just want to delete.

if you’re using a linux os, they’re in /home/username/.cache/mypaint …
windows and others IDK but there is : file>"Recover File from an Automated Backup…"
which for me offers to “Open the Cache Folder…”

Yeah, Linux. Thanks, I’ve been looking a lot in ~/.mypaint so I didn’t think of this. Thank you so much!
