Whenever I try to same this message pops up
Unable to write “C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPaint\artwork.org”:[Errno 13] Permission denied: u’C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPaint\.tmpsave.artwork.org’
I’m not that good with computers so if someone can explain what to do that would be awesome.
Could you please describe how and when this error happens? Plus are you using MSYS2 to install MyPaint or just the Installer from our github release page? Plus what version of windows are you trying to run this on? Does reinstalling MyPaint fix the error?
I honestly don’t have enough information to help you.
Sometimes a program will default the “save” location to where the program lives instead of where your own files should be saved. Try Saving again but make sure you click a location like My Documents or Desktop, something like that. Usually that will be something like C:\Users\YourName\Documents\
