MyPaint doesn’t seem to use much more than one or two CPU cores (if you enable openMP), so I thought I might put this out there:
I don’t own Intel stock, but I think if you are considering building a new rig any time soon you should take a look at this list. “Single Thread” performance may be the most important benchmark for many programs like MyPaint.
