Disabling controls popping up

In full screen mode, how do I prevent the controls from popping up if the cursor gets at the top or bottom? Drives me crazy. I love this program so I wrote down all the shortcuts. I don’t need the control bars, and it’s jarring when they popping up. Can this be done?

The newer alpha versions have a short delay so it is much less annoying now. Give it a try!
