I have been using My Paint for a while now and I am really enjoying the possibilities for brush customization. I am, however, running into a problem with customizing brushes. I want to acheive a more textured effect as part of my painting, but I don’t know what to change in the settings to achieve the effect I am after. When I have adjusted the “Brush” or “Texture” settings, I have ultimately ended somewhere between too rough and not rough enough.
I have heard that you can work with generative ai training to work with more quantitative brushes with textures for digital art, but I’m not sure what that’s supposed to look like or means for MyPaint. I am curious as to if anyone has tried to incorporate AI tools for digital art into MyPaint, or recommendations for how to adjust the settings for more of a natural texture brushstroke?
Would anyone be willing to help me by going over adjusting the settings? If you could provide tips on the right texture for different painting strokes/styles as well, that would be fantastic! I have tried some different size and spacing adjustments, but there just seems to be so much more that I am not using!
